🔧 Discount Tire

I've been going to various Discount Tire stores for many years. Excellent prices & customer service, great follow up with free air pressure checks & tire rotations. Yesterday was no different. They even reset my car's computer that another mechanic messed up. You can't go wrong!

Picked up a screw in the tire of our rental car. They were very busy but were able to patch it and get us back to our vacation in under an hour, without charging us a penny. Love these guys.

Incompetent or lazy...not sure which. On vacation in San Diego. Picked up a leak in my tire. Dropped 8lbs overnight. Stopped in to have it fixed. They couldn't find the leak. Lied to me and said they unmounted and changed the sensor (which I knew was a lie based on the tire pressure and no charge). I had to use sealant to get me by, which I hate using. Went to a restaurant and saw a screw in the tire...very obvious based on the attached picture. Don't waste your time at this location.

Always great service at Discount Tire especially this location. I had to special order 2 new tires for my Audi and Jose took excellent care of me. I was able to get my tires next day and Jose gave me a call first thing in the morning letting me know the tires were ready. I was able to get my car in within 30 minutes and Phil kept me in the loop with my vehicle status and picking up my vehicle. Great overall spot here for sure!

I have a Tesla Model Y with 4K miles on it and have been loosing air slowly out of one of the tires. Made appt through Tesla to look at they quoted me $385 without so much as a call back. Called Costco, they said they aren’t allowed to even touch tires that come installed on a Tesla new. Called Discount Tire in Pacific Beach and talked with Jose, he said come down at 3:30 on a Saturday when they close at 5pm. Got to the shop at 4pm and Jose checked me right in, took a look for me at all my tires and said okay we’ll take it in and let you know what we find. An hour later I got a call my Tesla was ready to pick up, they did a repair on a screw and said they don’t charge at all for repairs and I was out the door, fixed tire and cost me nothing but one hour total in and out. Russel was my mechanic and he was so great taking time to explain where my tread was at and when to rotate etc. I will definitely be back here, thank you Jose and Russell for the above and beyond customer service and help!
