Very very honest people and they don’t overcharge. Layth is the most professional and honest mechanic I’ve worked with. He fixed my trucks steering issue in two days when most mechanics told me at least a week and he gave me a better price too. I only write good reviews when I feel like the place deserves it, and this shop definitely does. Thank you to the team that work here. You now have a loyal customer!

This is honestly one of the best mechanic shop in el cajon. Express auto repair and tire helped me get my oil change, brakes, 4 brand new tires, and a 4 wheel alignment i got a great deal compared to all the others shops and they did amazing work on my car finally started to drive straight thank you guys so much i 100% recommend this shop and will for sure be coming back to do more business if you need your car serviced express auto repair is the shop to go to.

I was new to the area, and my car started acting up. I had to frantically find a place to go to fix my car because I did not have any mechanics I knew about. I went to 2 places that were closed. as my car was jerking around, and I was so desperate to find someone to fix my car on a saturday afternoon, I finally found express auto repair and tire. I pulled in just barely in enough time before my car broke down. I asked them if they were open and they said no, because they were just closing, but I told them my story and they said, no worries, sit down we will take care of you. I couldn't believe it! And I was so relieved, because I was seeing how fast they worked for me to get my car repaired. Offering me two prices for a refurbished alternator or a brand new alternator that seemed very fair. I could have totally been taken... But they treated me with respect and gave me a fair price. They ordered the part had it delivered and quickly got to fixing my vehicle and I was out within an hour. In the meantime, they asked me if I would like some coffee and they were very friendly. Thank you so much for helping me when I was desperate!!

Amazing customer service, it was my first time here and I had the best customer service from the owners and the workers. I went in not really knowing what was wrong with my car and they were able to not only fix my car but explain to me exactly what was going on in terms that I was able to understand as someone who knows nothing about cars. They are lovely people and I highly recommend you go to them with any car needs.
