***VERN TO THE RESCUE*** We broke down this afternoon directly opposite the AutoZone. Our scissor jack failed, so we popped into the AutoZone to ask for help. Without hesitation Vernon - or Vern as we came to know him - was already under our car. What a guy, he went above and beyond to help a stranger in need - we now consider Vern a friend for life - he’s the sort of amazing guy you aspire to be like - strong, positive and with super powers. We came up against numerous complications but Vern never gave up - magicing up tools and pulling a 3 ton pump jack from thin air - at one point he broke off to help another person in need - saving the day yet again by getting a pocket translator out to help a Korean person lost and unable to speak English. If I ever have any auto needs I will be visiting AutoZone and giving Vern any and all business I have, Vern and the family will be joining us for Thanksgiving I hope and maybe even more holidays - if you’re reading this Vern we got home safe thanks to you and you truly are our hero.

I went to buy a set of shocks for my car. I purchased them on a Monday. A few days later, they called me to pick them up — about three days later. I didn’t go that same day, but I went on Friday, just two days after the call. To my surprise, when I arrived, they had already returned the shocks to the warehouse. So, I asked for a refund. And guess what? They couldn’t give me my money back because there was no manager in the store, and apparently only a manager can access the system to verify the return. A mistake made by their store became my problem. Since then, it’s been almost a year — and I’ve gone to the store at least seven times to ask for my refund. Every single time, they tell me they “can’t do anything.” Today is June 19, 2025, and I went again to speak with the manager. I spoke on the phone with Carlos, one of the main managers at this location (or possibly over several stores). He told me the issue would finally be solved — but nothing happened. The store manager sent me home again, without a refund, just like every other time. I was told once more to “wait for a call” that never comes. I already know they’re never going to give me my money back. 📢 That’s why I’m warning all customers: do not shop at this store. And if you ever run into Manager Carlos, turn around. He is absolutely useless when it comes to solving anything.

AutoZone just saved me a trip to a dealer/mechanic that easily would have been $100, and instead was $20. Thanks to some MacGyver level Wizardry by Michael L !! 🙌🥳 Massive kudos for his can-do attitude and motivation to solve a problem, and mechanical skills. My rearview mirror broke off my 25 year old Toyota Avalon. Google and Reddit offered no solutions. I was in an unfamiliar neighborhood and AutoZone was the closest parts store, so I brought in photos of the sitch. Parts guy took me to the aisle where they had universal rear view mirrors (and who even knew that was a thing!). Grabbed one and prayed. Showed Michael L. my photos and their Universal mirror and asked if it could work. Went out to my car and he quickly figured out what to do, Pulled a screwdriver out of his pocket, popped out the old metal tab/stub (that looked like it was all one piece that was attached to the glass and I would not have thought to try to remove it). Slipped the new Universal mirror over it and voila all good! Can't thank you guys enough. And BTW AutoZone always has plenty of people around and they are knowledgeable and want to help unlike other parts stores which shall not be named. Thank you!

Thank you Javier and Roland after having a bad experience at another auto zone 🙄(on 30th st) the staff at this auto zone was helpful, kind and very transparent. They resolved my problem gave me a diagnostic informed me of a bad battery I then purchased a new battery and the new diagnostic was a bad alternator. Now I left with resolution and during the whole experience was informed clearly of what was going on with my vehicle. Thank you thank you thank you to the helpful spirit of the people that work here. I recommend this Auto Zone for sure after this experience I will come back.
