Hung is a great mechanic/technition. Very professional. Very honest. He explained every thing very well. I am very happy. I dropped off my vehicle at 8 am and it was ready for pick up at 2 pm. The final price was even less, than I was quoted! I recommend Black Mountain Auto Repair to anyone who needs quality auto repair, at a fair price.

Started coming here since 2021 on the referral of my Uncle who loves cars (like 10+ cars, some collectible and luxury) and he comes here all the time when it's convenient on the way back home east on the 8. Simple mom/pop shop, Hung seems to have been there forever and knows all our family who comes there! I bring my Mazda MX-5 Miata for my routine maintenance and things have been really great so far, we even make the drive from Chula Vista just so we don't have to trial and error another mechanic. Give them a call to set up an appointment and depending on how long we might Uber out to a coffee shop or restaurant to pass the time away. Otherwise they have a few seats to wait. Definitely come here for services!

Very friendly guys, completely reasonable prices. Even allowed me to bring my own parts to have installed with no issue. You can tell they just want to get the job done right.

I was very impressed. My old MINI was diagnosed and repaired quickly and the price was very fair. I was shown how each of the parts failed and now the car is running better than 5 years ago. I feel this group are the best shop I have dealt with in 40 year. Thank you.

We are so thankful for Hung and the service he provides. We had an older Buick that unfortunately needed a lot of work. His prices were always reasonable and he happily stayed late (past closing) several times for us to pick up our car. We then decided to buy a new (used) car. He inspected 5 used Camrys for us in one week. He was very thorough on his inspections and saved us from buying a bad car. When we brought one in that he told us to buy, we did! He never charged us for these inspections since we were his customers. Even the dealership salesman I brought with me with one of the cars was very impressed by Hung and asked for a stack of business cards to give out. He is honest and has integrity and those are very valuable traits in a mechanic.
